The School of Healthcare and Psychology runs courses which are developed jointly with practitioners to ensure that they are relevant to today’s healthcare needs. The courses include the teaching of principle skills and knowledge in the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health and Duty of Care in Healthcare Practice. Other courses which are customised for healthcare professionals include Manual Handling and Complaints and Conflict Resolution. These courses are specially geared towards to industry and engages relevant case studies for discussions, to further improve candidates’ understanding. The School engages both experienced professionals and academics in both course design and course delivery.
